Item Impact of Employee Relationship Management on Employee Job Performance in ABC (PVT) LTD.(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Niranjan, K.; Darshani, R. K. N. D.The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of employee relationship management on employee job performance in ABC (PVT) LTD. This study's primary goal is to investigate how employee relationship management, including elements like communication, conflict management, leadership style, shared values and goals, and trust, affects employees' performance in the ABC company. The study used a cross-sectional descriptive research design and a deductive quantitative research strategy. In addition, fixed and simple sampling techniques were used to choose BPO employees and collect information from respondents, respectively. Operational level employees who work in the BPO sector Sri Lanka were chosen as the population of this study. Sample size was 200 observations and used primary data as data source. Data collection was done through a self-administrated questionnaire. A Google form was created and distributed to collect data. The number of employees who responded was 154 among 200 employees. Statistical Package for social science (SPSS) version 23.0 was used as tool for data analysis and both descriptive and inferential statistics, namely regression and correlation were used to analyze data. The results indicate that Employee relationship management and it components has a significant positive effects on employee job performance.Item Impact of Working Conditions on Employee Job Satisfaction among Operational Level Employees in ABC (Pvt) Ltd(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Hansika, B. H. S. O.; Devadas, U. M.Researchers have made a remarkable effect to study the impact of existing level of working conditions on job satisfaction of machine operators in ABC (Pvt) Ltd Company. Therefore this study could make important contribution to management field. This research provides a significant contribution to the literature relating to working conditions and job satisfaction. The specific objective of the study is to identify the impact of physical working conditions and behavioural working conditions on the job satisfaction of machine operators of the selected company. The sample was selected randomly that included 234 machine operators. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis, simple regressions analysis, and multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis. According to the findings there is a strong positive relationship between physical and behavioural working conditions and employee job satisfaction. Further, there is a positive impact of physical and behavioural working conditions on employee job satisfaction. All four hypothesis were accepted. The suggested that management should focus more on improving the conditions of physical and behavioural working conditions to improve job satisfaction of machine operators.Item Impact of Work Life Balance on Job Performance of Executive Level Employees: with Reference to a Leading Apparel Company in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Divyanjalee, G. L. D.; Mahalekamge, W. G. S.Work life balance is a timely significant area of Human Resource Management and has become a top priority for workers everywhere. This study is mainly focused on discussing the effect of work life balance on job performance among executive level employees in a leading apparel company in Sri Lanka. In today’s dynamic environment, work life balance has become one of the major issues faced by many employees all over the world including in the apparel industry. Maintaining work life balance is an issue increasingly recognized as of strategic importance to both organization and employees. The research problem addressed in this study is to investigate the impact of work life balance on job performance among executives in the apparel industry in Sri Lanka. Work Life Balance is a major factor to increase employee performance as well as organizational performance. Employee performance is very important for any organization to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Selected leading apparel Company is not reaching the expected performance level, and it is clear to have a performance gap. The main objective of this study is to find the relationship between work life balance on executive level employee’s job performance. The research study explores the Impact of Work-Life Balance on employee job performance. Work life balance is selected independent variable, and employee performance is the dependent variable. A simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample, and the sample size was 110 executive level employees in a leading apparel company in Sri Lanka. The required primary data were collected through a standard questionnaire, and correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. It was found that Work Life Balance, Employee Assistant Programs, Technology Advancement, Working Environment and Workplace Stress positively impact on employee job performance. The researcher also found that there is a relationship between work-life balance and employee job performance.Item Impact of Perceived Organizational Justice on Employee Commitment: A Study of Executive Level Employees in a Leading Insurance Company in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Pathirathna, H. P. S. N.; Thisera, T. J. R.This study examines the impact of Organizational Justice on Employee Commitment in a leading insurance company in Sri Lanka. The present study adopted a quantitative research approach while following a survey research strategy. Data collection was done through a self-administered questionnaire using 93 executive employees attached to the head office of the selected company. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), version 23.0 was used and hypotheses were tested using simple linear regression. Accordingly, this study found that there is a positive impact of Perceived Organizational Justice dimensions (Distributive Justice, Procedural Justice, Interpersonal Justice, and Informational Justice) on Employees’ Commitment. Moreover, this study has numerous practical and theoretical implications.Item Impact of Work Life Balance on Turnover Intention: A Study of Sewing Machine Operators in A Leading Apparel Manufacturing Organization in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Pinnawala, P. A. U. A.; Thisera, T. J. R.This study aims to examine the impact of work-life balance on turnover intention among sewing machine operators in leading apparel manufacturing organizations in Sri Lanka. This quantitative research followed a deductive research approach while using a survey strategy. A simple sampling technique was used to collect the sample. Accordingly, data collection was done using a self-administered standard questionnaire from 114 sewing machine operators. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), version 23.0 was used as a tool for data analysis and regression was used to analyze data. The results have shown that work-life balance has a significant direct impact on turnover intention. Work interference with personal life has a significant positive effect on turnover intention. Personal life interference with work has a significant positive effect on turnover intention. Work-personal life enhancement has a significant negative effect on turnover intention. This study has many practical and theoretical implications for practitioners and scholars.Item Mediating Effect of Employee Engagement on the Relationship between Leadership Styles and Employee Commitment(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Rodrigo, S. D.; Jayarathna, S. M. D. Y.Employee Commitment and leadership have become an uproar in every organisation. This study aims to assess the mediating effect of employee engagement on the relationship between leadership styles and employee commitment in the engineering sector in Sri Lanka. This study adopted a quantitative research approach; thus, a self-administrated survey questionnaire was used for a sample of 282 engineers. Simple linear regression analysis was performed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 23.0 version to test the hypothesised relationships between the constructs. The study results revealed a significant effect of transactional leadership & transformational leadership on engineer’s commitment. Further, employee engagement act as a partial mediator on the above relationships. The current study helps employees appropriately select and use their offered suitable leadership style to ensure their employee commitment in terms of productivity and Faithfull. Further, it guides to the development of mechanisms to enhance employee engagement, thus enhancing commitment that leads to achieving a people-oriented and harmonious society.Item Impact of Perceived Organizational Values on Employee Career Satisfaction of Executive - Level Employees in a Selected Private Commercial Bank in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Madhuwanthi, S. A. C. B.; Karunarathne, R. A. I. C.The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of perceived organizational values on career satisfaction of employees. Even though there are studies available focusing on the impact of person-organization value fit on organizational outcomes, there is a dearth of studies investigating the impact of person-organization value fit on employee attitudinal outcomes. Thus, taking this lacuna in research into consideration, this study was undertaken a quantitative deductive study. The authors deployed the survey strategy and data were collected using a questionnaire. Executive level employees of a leading commercial bank were chosen as the population of the study. Accordingly primary data were collected from a sample of 216 respondents using the nonprobability convenience sampling technique. Data collection was done using a self – administrated, structured questionnaire. Data analysis was done using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), version 23.0. The hypothesis of the study was tested using the simple regression analysis. The results indicated that there is a significant positive impact of perceived organizational values on career satisfaction of employees.Item Impact of Financial Rewards Satisfaction on Employee Retention Intention during the Economic Crisis, Special Reference to the ABC Company PVT LTD.(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Ramanayake., R.T.T.; Weerasinghe, T. D.The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of financial rewards satisfaction on employee retention during the economic crisis. In addition to that, this study intends to contribute to fill the knowledge gap by looking into the relation between financial rewards and employee retention intention. Although, about financial rewards satisfaction and employee retention researches well established in western literature, very few studies have examined about the financial rewards satisfaction on employee retention intention in the Sri Lankan context, especially in the manufacturing industry. This study explored the relationship and examined the influence of those variables among operational level employees who work in a manufacturing Company in Sri Lanka. This research is a deductive (theory –testing) research. This research was conducted using survey research strategy and quantitative research method. Operational level employees of ABC Company PVT LTD were chosen as the population of the study. Simple random sampling technique was used calculate the sample size. Accordingly, sample size was 133 observations and used primary data as data source, data collection was done through a self-administered questionnaire. A Google form was created and distributed to collect data. The number of employees who responded was 154 among 200 employees. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), version 23.0 was used as tool for data analysis and both descriptive and inferential statistics, namely correlation and regression were used to analyze data. The results indicate that there is a significant impact of financial rewards satisfaction on Employee retention Intention.Item Preparing for Success: The Importance of Career Adaptability and Self-Efficacy in University Students' Perceived Employability(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Basnayake, S. D. A. N.; De Alwis, A. C.Individuals must establish career adaptability and self-efficacy prior to joining the profession; failure to do so will result in a delay in securing employment. This research aims to determine the association between career adaptability and self-efficacy, as well as self-perceived employability, among University of Kelaniya students. For this specific study, a quantitative design was used, and a questionnaire served as the only data collecting instrument. The students in their last year at the faculty of commerce and management studies provided the data for this study. According to the Morgan table and the 95% confidence interval, the researcher selected 214 students as the sample size for the present investigation. In addition, the research used Convenience Sampling as a non-probability sampling approach. Using the SPSS program, the researcher described the link and influence of independent variables (career adaptability and self-efficacy) on the dependent variable (perceived employability). The chi-square test and linear regression under the curve estimate were used as data analytic techniques in the present research to evaluate the connection and influence of the variables. There is a considerable association between the four elements of career adaptability (concern, control, curiosity, and confidence) and perceived employability. Furthermore, Self-Self-Efficacy Efficacy's has a substantial association with perceived employability. Moreover, Career Adaptability and Self-Efficacy have beneficial effects on perceived employability. The researcher concluded by emphasizing that the outcomes of the study indicate a substantial connection between variables and a significant impact of Career Adaptability and Self-Efficacy on Perceived Employability. After evaluating each of the advanced hypotheses, the analysis found that they were all accepted. The present research concludes, based on the data, that career adaptability and self-efficacy both have a considerable positive impact on perceived employability. This research indicated that students should concentrate less on their degree of self-confidence and more on their level of self-discipline and industry experience. The findings of this study added to the theory on the impact of career adaptability and self-efficacy on students' perceptions of their employability in the Sri Lankan setting, for which no literature existed in the Sri Lankan context.Item Impact of Talent Management on Competitive Advantage in IT Industry(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Gayara, B. A. H.; Janadari, M. P. N.Organizations can gain a powerful competitive advantage by tapping into their talent and learning how to effectively organize and lead it. The purpose of this research is to identify the respondents' perceptions about the talent management in its various dimensions prevailing in IT Industry and its impact on the level of competitive advantage. As mentioned in the research problem, finding the right talent at right time that companies need to maintain a competitive advantage over other companies is very difficult and challenging. This research is deductive research and was conducted using survey research strategy and quantitative research approach thus, a questionnaire was used to gather research data and was generated using the five-component Likert scale. The sample size of this study is determined using the Morgan table and 375 is taken as the sample size of this study and 297 responses were received and transferred to analysis. Simple random sampling is used as the sampling technique for this study. It was also verified for its validity and reliability before distributing it randomly, and the data was analyzed using SPSS version 26, both descriptive and inferential statistics, namely correlation and regression were used to analyzed data. As per the findings, talent management has a significant impact on competitive advantage. In the conclusion, research has come to a point where, the most crucial work is to discover talents, employ talents, develop talents, and retain the unique talent because of its positive impact in making the company a competitive edge among rivals. The results indicate that talent management has significant impact on competitive advantage. This study will be more important for the managers who work for IT firms in Sri Lanka. They will be able to develop appropriate business strategies for their organizations to achieve competitive advantage and make appropriate decisions based on the findings. The study will shed light on the importance of talent management in the information technology industry and it will be useful to those mandated with handling talent in other technology companies and subsequently reducing turnover rates.Item Impact of Student Engagement in E-Learning on Perceived Learning Effectiveness: A Study of Undergraduates of Management Faculties in State Universities in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Madushan, J. C.; Wijewantha, P.Though there is attraction for the topic of student engagement in e-learning environments, especially in the Western research setting, there are only limited research available in this area related to the Sri Lankan educational contexts. Taking that lacuna in research in the Sri Lankan context into consideration this study was undertaken to identify the impact of student engagement in e-learning on perceived learning effectiveness of management undergraduates in state universities in Sri Lanka. This study was undertaken as a quantitative research and study used primary data. A self-administrated structured questionnaire was used to collect primary data from a sample of 347 management undergraduates of state universities in Sri Lanka. The sample was selected using the convenience sampling technique. To test the hypothesized relationships between the constructs, a simple regression analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 version. Analyzed results showed a significant positive impact of student engagement in e-learning on perceived learning effectiveness in management undergraduates in state universities in Sri Lanka. Under student engagement in e-learning, this study tested three dimensions: behavioural engagement, emotional engagement, and cognitive engagement. Sub hypotheses for dimensions was also supported by the data when analyzed. This study encourages university students, lecturers, and administrators to find ways to enhance the student engagement in e-learning environments to increase learning effectiveness undergraduates.Item The Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Employee Engagement: Evidence from a Private Commercial Bank in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Kumarasinghe, S. H. P. N.; Sangarandeniya, Y. M. S. W. V.The main purpose of this research study was to determine the impact of emotional intelligence on employee engagement in executive level employees in Sampath Bank. The association between emotional intelligence and employee engagement is well-established in western literature. Still, few studies have examined in Sri Lanka context banking sector. This is the first study that examines the impact of emotional intelligence on employee engagement in executive level employees in Sampath Bank especially about executive above cadre employee category in banking sector. Hence this was a quantitative and cross-sectional research study. This methodology reviews existing literature related to the research theme and primary data. Primary data have been collected through structured and standard questionnaires using convenience sampling. The measures of the study were of good quality after ensuring reliability and validity. Data were collected from 179 respondents, 60.05% of the expected sample size. Simple regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses of the study. Analysed results showed a significant impact of emotional intelligence on employee engagement in executive level employees in Sampath Bank. Analysed results showed a significant impact of emotional intelligence on employee engagement in executive – level employees in Sampath bank. It will be a more reliable and valid study with a larger sample from around the country all employees.Item Impact of Occupational Stress on Employee Absenteeism: Moderating Effect of Employee Engagement(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Madhuranga, D. P. A. N. S.; Karunarathne, R. A. I. C.Occupational Stress is a major factor that affects the career of any employee. Previous researchers have attempted to examine the relationship between job stress and employee absenteeism, but there are some unsolved questions remaining to answer. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to identify the impact of occupational stress on absenteeism and study the moderating effect of job engagement. This study is based on a quantitative research approach, and it was a cross-sectional study. To test our research model, we collected data from 106 team members from an apparel industry company in Sri Lanka. Hypotheses were tested using Pearson correlation coefficient, linear regression analysis and hayes' process macro. Findings of this study revealed that occupational stress has an impact on employee engagement and employee absenteeism. Moreover, the results of moderator analysis showed that occupational stress influences employee absenteeism through employee engagement. Thus, we recommend management of this company to take a serious effort to reduce employee stress as it makes a significant impact on employee engagement and absenteeism. Theoretical implications are discussed.Item The Impact of Effective Communication on Employee Retention: A Study of Operational Level Employees in the Sense Micro Distributions (Pvt) Ltd(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Mudunkotuwa, M. H. W. R. S.; Harshani, M. D. R.The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of effective communication between operational-level employees on employee retention. The selected company for the study is one of the reputed companies in Sri Lanka that provides IT services. This research was conducted using a survey research strategy and quantitative research method. Operational-level employees of Sense Micro Distributions (Pvt) Ltd Company were chosen as the population of the study. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire. A convenient sampling technique was applied to select the sample, and the final sample consisted of 169 operational-level employees of the selected company. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), version 23.0, was used to analyze data. According to the results of the study, it was found that effective communication strongly impacts employee retention. Quality of the information is the highest impacted variable out of Supervisor – Subordinate communication, opportunities for upward communication, and reliability of the information. It can be concluded that there is a significant positive impact of effective communication between operational-level employees on employee retention. The findings revealed that it is widely understood that the quality of data and information is essential in a knowledge-based, data-intensive economy since information integrity and decision quality are strongly correlated.Item Impact of Workplace Harassment on Internship Satisfaction as Perceived by Human Resource Management Interns of the University of Kelaniya(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Gunawardhana, D. S. W.; Devadas, U. M.In today's challenging and competitive employment system, the University continuously strives to increase student internship satisfaction. There the relationship between internship satisfaction and workplace harassment of those students was analyzed. A pattern of unwanted behaviour meant to frighten, insult, degrade, or humiliate a person or group of people is called workplace harassment. It is a sign of dominance (Somasundaram & Aswathy, 2022) . The feelings or overall attitude that interns have toward their jobs and elements associated with their jobs, such as the workplace, working conditions, fair compensation, and contact with partners, is known as internship satisfaction (Anwar & Louis, 2017) .The current study was initiated to identify the impact and relationship between workplace harassment on internship satisfaction as perceived by human resource management interns of the university of Kelaniya. The study is limited to the identification of the factors of the human resource management interns of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. This study followed a quantitative approach and cross-sectional field study, furthermore, used the deductive methods of research. Usable questionnaires were received from 120 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS. According to regression analysis, results indicate that learning styles significantly impact undergraduates’ academic performance by 8.9%. Correlation analysis results indicate that there is a significant relationship between workplace harassment and internship satisfaction. Workplace harassment is an effective way in developing an intern’s internship satisfaction. The present study could facilitate and provide a guideline to consider the implementation of practical applications regarding enhancing the undergraduates’ internship satisfaction. The findings of the study s indicate that workplace harassment significantly impacts undergraduate internship satisfaction in the human resource management undergraduates of the University of Kelaniya. In a conclusion, the current study concludes by declaring that workplace harassment significantly impacts to undergraduates’ internship satisfaction.Item Impact of E-learning on Student Satisfaction of Final Year Management Undergraduates in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Warnasooriya, Y. L.; Gunasekara, V. M.The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of E-learning on student satisfaction in the management undergraduates in Sri Lanka. In addition to that, this study intends to contribute to fill the knowledge gap by looking into the relation between E-learning and Student Satisfaction. Although the concept of organizational e-learning and student satisfaction established more in western and Latin American literature, very few studies have examined these with E-Learning and with student satisfaction in the Sri Lankan context. Hence, this study explored the relationship and examined the influence of those variables among final year management undergraduates who studies in state universities in Sri Lanka. This research is deductive research. This research was conducted using survey research strategy and quantitative research method. Final year management undergraduates in Sri Lanka were chosen as the population of the study. Simple random sampling technique was used calculate the sample size. Accordingly, sample size was 112 and used primary data as data source, data collection was done through a self-administered questionnaire. A Google form was created and distributed to collect data. The results indicate that E-Learning has significant direct effects on student satisfaction.Item The Impact of Organizational Justice on Organization Commitment of Management Level Employees in XYZ Company in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Kavindi, S. M. N.; Sangarandeniya, Y. M. S. W. V.This study aims to examine the impact of organizational justice on organizational commitment of managerial employees in XYZ company in Sri Lanka. The study espoused descriptive and correlational research designs with a statistical sample of 132 managerial employees in XYZ company in Sri Lanka. Justice comprehensions were measured using Colquitt’s four construct model comprising of distributive, procedural, interpersonal and informational justice while organizational commitment was measured through Meyer’s three component model comprising of affective, continuance and normative commitment. Inferential statistics comprising of correlation, multiple linear regression models and ANOVA analysis were applied `to establish the impact of the independent on dependent variables. Qualitative data was analyzed through the use of questionnaires. Based on the findings, the study concluded that organizational justice has a positive influence on organizational commitment. Top management of Organization should be aware that the fairness of procedures used in allocating rewards, decision making, and the voice afforded employees in the allocation process are improving level of employees’ commitment in an organization. For organizational procedures to be perceived as fair, they should be applied consistently.Item Impact of Employee Job Satisfaction on Employee Job Performance: A Study on Middle Management Level Employees in Abans Finance PLC, Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Jayasekara, A. K. W.; Wanigasekara, W. M. S. K.Human resource is the most asset in order to achieve a competitive advantage of an organization. Therefore, this study investigates employee job performance and related factors deeply. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between extrinsic and intrinsic job satisfaction on employee job performance in Abans Finance PLC. The study was conducted among a sample of 185 middle management level employees who are working in Abans Finance PLC in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Data analysis was conducted by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) with the aid of statistical techniques such as mean, and correlation analysis. Findings revealed that there is a positive relationship between extrinsic & intrinsic job satisfaction and employee performance. As a limitation, this study focused on a few dimensions and future researchers can use different work outcomes such as flexibility, work-life balance, as independent variables.Item Impact of Perceived Employability on Academic Engagement and Perceived Stress in Life: A Study of Management Undergraduates of State Universities in Sri Lanka(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Madusanka, N. M. A. P.; Wijewantha, P.This study investigated the impact of perceived employability on academic engagement and perceived stress in life of management undergraduates in state universities in Sri Lanka. The relationship between perceived employability and academic engagement is well-established in Western literature. However, only a few studies have examined the relationship between perceived employability and academic engagement as well as the impact of perceived employability on perceived stress in life. Accordingly, this study was undertaken to fill that that void in literature present in the Sri Lankan setting. This is a quantitative survey done as a cross-sectional study. The data were collected using an online survey by distributing the survey questionnaire via social media. Accordingly, primary data were collected using the questionnaire developed using well accepted standard measures, from a sample of 352 respondents. The impact of perceived employability on academic engagement and perceived stress in life was tested using two separate simple regression analyses. The results indicated a significant positive impact of perceived employability on academic engagement and a significant negative impact of perceived employability on perceived stress in the life of management undergraduates of state universities in Sri Lanka. This is one of the limited studies done in this area and compared to previous studies done using current employees in the labor market, this study becomes unique as it used undergraduates who are yet to enter the labor market.Item Impact of Mindfulness on Work Life Balance; Moderating Effect of Marital Status(Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, 2022) Kumari, Y. Moreover, employee work-life balance is an essential component of an overall healthy work environment. The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of mindfulness on work life balance. In addition to that, this study intended to contribute to address the boundary conditions of work life balance by examining the moderating effect of marital status on the relation between mindfulness and work life balance. Although prior researchers have examined the predictors of poor work life balance, still this is one of the critical issues in many organizations. Thus, this study aimed to narrow it down the extant gap. This study is based on a quantitative research approach and data were collected at one point in time. Using a structured questionnaire, we collected data from 108 management assistants. In line with the research model, we developed two hypotheses and hypotheses were tested using regression. Results of this study showed that there is a significant impact of mindfulness on work life balance. Moreover, results of moderation analysis indicated that the relationship of employee mindfulness and work life balance does not vary across employee marital status. This study suggested that managers should establish a mindfulness-based intervention in the organization. Cross validation of the findings of this study to be done in cross industry or cross organizations comparatively among the bigger sample in subsequent studies is recommended, which will add more insights to the substance of the present study.
