dc.description.abstract The world has been divided mainly into four regions for the geographical and political study of the globe- i.e. Africa, America, Asia and Europe. This division has been made on the feature of geography, economy, politics and many other regional factors. Presently world of welfare state mechanism is highly concerned with the protection and preservation of human rights. For that purpose, so many regional and international organizations have been emerged. But Asia region lacks such sort of organizational effort to protect human rights in this region. And, the available international forums are very complicated to reach for the remedy for its impractical procedural conditions. This study focused on the comparison of the scopes and challenges of development of human rights protection mechanism in Asia. In this study, primary sources are the UN conventions, regional treaties, and relevant other international laws and the secondary sources are books, journals, dissertations, conference papers, newspapers etc. To upgrade the human rights condition of Asia region, there is no alternatives other than establishing a regional mechanism. In this context, sharing the ideas of existing regional mechanism of other three regions (Europe, the America and Africa) of the world can be a good way to frame a concept of developing an ideal and effective regional mechanism to protect and promote the human rights condition in Asia region. There are some political, economic and well wishes of super powers of the region lie as the extreme obstacles to the development of a uniform regional protection body. Through this study, the author tries to try to find the barriers to this process and shall try to make a way forward to this regard. en_US
