dc.description.abstractThis research sets out to explore the relationship between Production team member's efficiency (machine operators) and job satisfaction, leadership style and demographic factors such as age, marital status, and experience and employee accommodation for the purpose of work (home/hostel). Data were gathered from fifty Production team members in the Slim line which is a leading Apparel manufacturing company in Sri Lanka. The findings indicated a significant positive relationship between Production team member's efficiency and job satisfaction. It was also found that the most employee efficiency driven leadership styles as Democratic and Bureaucratic leadership styles. Moreover, it was found that there is a significant differences between different age groups, employee experience and marital status in relation to Production team member's efficiency. In conclusion, this study recommends employee satisfaction index to measure employee satisfaction, training plans for acquiring leadership qualities of immediate supervisors of Production team member's. modification of the employee retention plan and modifications for company recruitment plans.en_US
