User satisfaction with Library Physical Facilities in Engineering Colleges of Hyderabad and Rangareddy Districts, Telangana State.

Abstract

The present study is concerned with the physical facilities denote physical conveniences available in the library to facilitate in the Engineering College Libraries of Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts by undergraduates, postgraduates, research scholars and faculty members. Physical facilities like maintenance, ventilation and lighting, furniture, reading rooms, drinking water and toilets. Results showed that most of the respondents (95.00%) are satisfied with maintenance of their libraries, most of the respondents (92.78%) are satisfied with the ventilation and lighting in their libraries. Most of the respondents (95.32%) are satisfied with regard to library furniture like tables, chairs, etc., majority of the respondents (70.30%) are satisfied with drinking water facility available in their libraries, majority of the respondents (64.63%) are satisfied with toilet facility.
