dc.description.abstractThis study focuses on the impact of cyberloafing on employees’ work performance of ABC Company with reference to the telecommunication industry. 192 employees from all grades were selected and the primary data were collected using a standard questionnaire covering the independent variable and 3 dimensions of the dependent variable of employees’ work performance, namely, task performance, contextual performance and counterproductive work behaviour. The data was analyzed using SPSS Software. The results indicate that there is no significant relationship between cyberloafing and task performance and contextual performance but a relationship does exist between cyberloafing and counterproductive work behaviour.Ultimately the study found that there is a significant relationship between cyberloafing and employees’ work performance of ABC Company with reference to the telecommunications industry.en_US
