The main objective of this study is to analyze the growth of the research in the category Data Mining, a subject that has arisen over the last few decades. The study also aims to compare scientific production in the field of data mining between countries and evaluate the publication trend and authorship pattern worldwide. Study analyzed publications for journals between 2010 and 2015, with an analysis from the perspective of both quantity and quality. Furthermore, we have analyzed the international dissemination of research of countries through journals and the relationship with the authorship pattern to detect the published journals of each country. We have applied RGR, LOTKA’S law and Bradford’s law in this study. This study has observed a total of 9437 publications in Data mining research over a period of six years from 2010 to 2015 and indexed by Web of Science online Database indicates that the publication output in the Global level. The highest numbers of papers were published during the year 2015 with 1846 records and the following year 2014 with 1722 records. The least number of papers was recorded during 2010 with1238records. The study revealed that USA occupies top position with 2626 publications followed by Peoples R China with1534, Taiwan with 693, UK with 642, Spain with 542 and Germany with 514 records of research publications respectively. First place goes to USA with2626 publications, first rank in terms of GCS with 22962 records of 113 Countries were contributed the publications.en_US
