dc.description.abstract This research examines the impact of social challenges on women‟s human right violations in Sri Lanka. The study explores how societal factors contribute to the violations of women‟s human right. Sri Lanka‟s women face various forms of human right violations. Including; gender inequality, domestic violence, gender pay gap, violation against women and limited access to education. Study area of this research mainly focus on gender pay gap, violation against women and limited access to education. In here objectives are, to analyze societal factors impacts and women‟s human right violations in Sri Lanka. To examine the consequences of these violations and to suggest policy recommendations to address and mitigate these challenges. This research provide a comprehensive understanding of the issue. The findings will inform policymakers, NGOs and activist working towards women‟s empowerment. This study utilize mixed method approach and collecting primary and secondary data. In here key findings are societal norms and traditional gender roles play a significant role perpetuating women‟s right violations. Economic disparities and limited access to recourses contribute to women‟s vulnerability. Here are some potential solutions and strategies to mitigate women's rights violations in Sri Lanka.To suggest policy recommendations to address and mitigate these challenges and Increase awareness of women‟s rights in the civil society. This research underscores the urgent need for comprehensive policy investigations addressing the social challenges that contribute to women‟s human right violations in Sri Lanka. en_US
