dc.description.abstract Transformation of entrepreneurial intention into action is a relatively new field of study that has attracted greater interest from researchers over the past decade. Being a relatively new field of study with growing interest, it needs systemization and categorization to develop a clear idea about the knowledge generated at present, so that future researchers can overcome the tendency to start anew every time. Having this in mind, the author has carried out a systematic literature review on the topic using 50 research articles published between year 2000 and 2021 (upto March) in reputed journals. This review found the researchers to focus mainly on five major areas with dominant focus being on the role of entrepreneurial human capital. The review also found quantitative research methods to be more popular among the researchers with regression analysis and structural equation modelling technique being preferred by majority of researchers for data analysis, while university students being the most preferred unit of observation. This review also identified the associations (through co-occurrence analysis of key words) and research gaps with possible avenues for future research. This review will add value to future researchers through systemization and categorization, while being useful for aspiring entrepreneurs, by educating them about the factors that could influence the transformation of entrepreneurial intention into action. While supporting the administrators and policy makers in policy development, the findings of this review could also support universities and other educational institutions, to reflect on their own practices, and make suitable changes to their teaching strategy. en_US
