Abstract
SUMMARY: Persistent delirium is not an uncommon entity in acute clinical settings. It is unrecognized in certain situations and is associated with higher mortality and morbidity. Further, clinicians are impatient for the patients to recover as soon as the underlying medical conditions are treated. This may often be not the case in delirium. Here we report two patients presenting within the same month with prolonged delirium.
