    Impact of Marketing Mix Element on Customer Purchase Intention With Reference To Lubricant Market in Sri Lanka

    This research was conducted to find out the Impact of Marketing Mix element on the customer purchase intension for lubricant products market in Sri Lanka. Researcher has found out that there is a positive relationship among marketing mix and customer purchase intension. For the partial perspective, the study suggests some strategies for the management of Lubricant Product industry. Also mention some further research areas. A sample of 100 respondents who are above 20 years of age and who are capable of making decisions of vehicle maintenance from Colombo and Gampaha districts were selected to conduct the study. A questionnaire based survey was conducted to collect data and stated hypotheses were tested using correlation and regression analysis. SPSS was used as the data analysis tool. Results of the research provide insights for lubricant market to make marketing mix decisions.

    The Factors Affecting the Purchase Intention of Motorcycle Market with Special Reference to Colombo and Gampaha Districts.

    Motorcycle industry is a very competitive market with a significant number of market players. Also the statistics indicate that the motorcycles are a sought-after means of transportation among Sri Lankans. This study carried out to understand the factors affecting to the purchase intention of motorcycles in the Sri Lankan context. A comprehensive literature analysis was carried out in order to identify five major factors i.e. promotions, after sales service, product quality, country of origin and brand awareness which are leading to purchase intention within the motorcycle industry from both local and international context. The study focused on Colombo and Gampaha area with a sample of 120 and the survey method was used to gather primary data from the selected group. Hypotheses for the research were tested using correlation analysis. In Sri Lankan context, product quality, country of origin, and promotion are the most important factors when making a decision of purchasing motorcycles.

    Impact of Brand Personality Determinants towards Purchasing Intention: A Study on Branded Umbrella Products in Sri Lanka

    All Marketing Managers are trying to win the market by differentiating their products among the customers by using the product and brand related factors. Among those factors brand personality is still critical factor to those marketing managers to create the differentiation in the market. Therefore the purpose of this study is explore the relationship of brand personality determinants and purchase intention with referring to the Sri Lankan branded umbrella products. The convenience sampling method was used to collect the primary data. A total of 100 questionnaire were distributed among the umbrella consumers and collected the primary data based on researcher administrated method. Respondent rete is 100%. Multiple regression analysis used for test the hypotheses. The primary data collected only from Kandy and Colombo Districts among the age limit of 15-45 years umbrella consumers with targeting the only 100 consumers to analysis. The lack of generalization of this study is that it is limited to the branded umbrella industry. Findings of this studies are Excitement and Ruggedness are positively affect to the purchasing intention referring to the branded umbrella products of Sri Lanka. Sincerity, Competence and Sophistication are not positively affect to the purchasing intention referring to the branded umbrella products of Sri Lanka.
