Abstract: Significant international migratory movements are a feature of the modern world, fueled by a complex interaction of issues including economic inequality, political unpredictability, and environmental problems. The influence of nationalism on immigration policy has taken on a greater significance. This study aims to look at the relationship between nationalism and immigration laws in various parts of the world. The main goals are as follows, to examine how immigration policies in certain nations are created in connection to nationalist ideas, and determine the effects of nationalist-driven immigration policy on immigrant communities, social integration, and human rights. Significance of this study in a globalized world where populations are becoming more mobile, understanding the impact of nationalism on immigration policy is essential. This paper advances academic discourse by illuminating the philosophical foundations of immigration laws. This is a qualitative data analysis and data was collected from secondary data sources through websites, books, journal articles, and newspapers. Key results of this research include, Immigration policy is heavily influenced by nationalist ideology, which leads to increasingly restrictive and discriminatory tactics, Nationalism-inspired tighter immigration regulations have created serious problems for immigrant populations, including greater vulnerability, restricted access to basic services, and social marginalization, International organizations and agreements play a variety of roles in reducing the influence of nationalism on immigration policy, with varying degrees of effectiveness. The conclusion of this study emphasizes how nationalism significantly influences migration policy, frequently resulting in policies that put national interests ahead of humanitarian considerations. Here are recommendations that specifically address the impact of nationalism on migration policies; Review and repeal discriminatory policies, engage in diplomacy, Consult with immigration experts, and Legislative Reform.
