Abstract: ABSTRACT: Pregabalin is used to treat numerous conditions ranging from peripheral neuropathy to social phobia. Multiple case reports of its abuse potential and dependence, including withdrawal symptoms, have being published in the world literature. Clinicians in Sri Lanka are now encountering patients who are misusing pregabalin due to various reasons, on a regular basis. KEYWORDS: Pregabalin, substance misuse
