Procrastination at work and employee work performance are decisive elements of any organization even though there is a limited research attention given on procrastination and its outcomes of managerial employees. This study examines the impact of procrastination at work and employee work performance with special reference to managerial employees. The quantitative study design was used and data were collected through an online survey. The final sample was 102 managerial employees of MAS Holdings (Pvt) Limited, Sri Lanka. The hypothesized model was tested using simple linear regression analysis. Results showed a negative relationship between procrastination at work on employee work performance of managerial employees, and thus to improve performance managers ought not to delay work. Further, where no research on procrastination has been conducted in the Sri Lankan context, this research supplements the literature on work procrastination by particularly studying a managerial employee sample and indicating the requirement of studying its implications on other professionsen_US
