Abstract: The purpose of this research is to assess the impact of the internship experience of undergraduates on university to work success. In this study, the researcher used a standard questionnaire regarding the internship experience and the university to work success to collect primary data from the management graduates that passed out from the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies of the University of Kelaniya in 2017. Gathered data was analyzed using correlation and regression analysis and research findings indicated that there is a moderate positive relationship and significant positive impact between Internship experience of the undergraduates and university to work success. Therefore, undergraduates should more focus on their internships to develop their soft skills and the higher education institutions need to focus their practical training programs as well. Because this internship experience is most important to an undergraduate to achieve a better career success. Further, this study would be more helpful to initiate a larger scale study on the internship experience on the career success
