Abstract: People are born in disabled or they can be disabled by accidently where ever they live. The research proves that the 10% of world population are disabled and according to the UNDP (2009a) report there are 02 million children of world population are disabled and UNESCAP (2010) stated that 07% of population of Sri Lanka is disabled out of that 2.5% are representing children. The Sri Lankan government has already taken actions to take care of them as citizen of the country and formulated the policy to face the issue constructively. As a result of that the then Ministry of Social Services activated the policy to protect the rights of people with disability since year 1996. In the system of education, the Sri Lankan government introduced the inclusive education to serve the rights of them sitting with other children in schools. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were using for the research and the main objective of this research to find out the effectiveness of inclusive education in education system Sri Lanka. Introducing new education system should be more effective and meaningful to the system to provide best education in all level in necessary. Education policy reviewing and formulating new policies focusing on the matter is compulsory for further development of the education without ignoring special need children.
