dc.description.abstractIn the modern era has been changing the role of library perspectives towards the future. The main mission of a library is to collect, organize, preserve and provide access to the knowledge and information. The libraries maintain all variety of collections including both printed materials such as books, journals, newspapers, as well as audio and video records, CD-ROMs, micro fitches, online databases and software applications. Library preservation is the valuable record of culture that can be passed down towards the succeeding generations. While these documents have traditionally been tangible objects, much of the information is we create now digital, and must be preserved using different methods. It can be useful to material safe and digital document serve as vital links to the past. The main problem with digital preservation is that digital technology, in comparison to print, is an extremely fragile medium for the historical events of the world. The present paper discussed about the necessity of digital content preservation implementation of cloud technique in digital data storage preservation service and briefly viewed with appropriate techniques for preservation and conservation of digital materials in the library. Dura cloud is open source technology for digital material storing in the cloud based application. It has been provided the features to build in the computer service for digital preservation, data access and transformation, and sharing information with new technology.en_US
