Problems and Challenges in Conservation of Law Libraries Resources in Colombo

Abstract

Libraries in the third world countries despite the constraints of finance confronting them still make huge investment on acquisition of library resources. Present study was carried out problems and challenges of conservation of library resources in Law libraries. Particularly, it examined the problems and challenges in conservation of library resources. Today library resources face several types of problems and challenges. Techniques adopted types of physical damages causes to the library materials and types of different disaster the library collection. For this purpose of the researchers prepared a well-structured questionnaires and interview schedule as a tool for data collection and same has been distributed, collected, analyzed and presented with useful percentage analysis and suitable table for presentation for data. Results highlighting for the major findings, suggestions and conclusions
