Keeping this phenomenon out of society implies putting sex, its act and implication especially when wrongly indulged under the carpet, (keeping it out of reach from society). After the 1990s, studies have shown that social issues such as abnormal sexual behaviours were seen or reported at an unprecedented level. Within a short period, from 2006-2011, the rate and pace of increased abnormal sexual behaviours and their depressing effect on victims is on the rise. The research problem of this study is to analyze the socio-psychological impact of abnormal sexual behaviours, and to explain how it occurs, and its impact on the victims. The objective of this study is therefore, to identify the socio-psychological impact of abnormal sexual behaviours. This study was done with the selection of 05 rural and urban centers which are affiliated to public hospitals of Sri Lanka, where 30 reported cases were obtained and used as secondary data. It was found that socio-psychological impact of abnormal sexual behaviours was very significant. We are in dire need to have a open dialogue on sexual culture in Sri Lanka in pursuance of reduced abnormal sexual behaviours.
