Item Digital Literature(4th International Conference on Social Sciences 2018, Research Centre for Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2018) Kumara, A.M.C.The origin and the conclusion of the Communication History is cannot be specifically defined. Despite that, communication history is being developed in generation to generation. In the initial stage of communication, it is existed by signals, symbols, printing method, photography, cinema and television. As a result of Computer technology invention it has been improved as digital communication what is existing in today. This objective of this study is analyze Digital literature which has been developed by Digital technology. The study is conducted with the special reference to “Mosam Sanda” Blog page of Mr. Manjula Wediwardhana, who is known as very famous blogger. The methodologies of this study are Interview method and Blog page content analytical methods. In conclusion, this study is identified that the blog pages are doing paly major role for the digital literature. Furthermore, the experiences and concepts achieved by social, political and economic circumstances would contribute to create a digital reader. Finally this study illustrates that blog page is maintain by Tamil poems, new poems and songs as well.Item The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations in Sustainable Community Development in Bibile: With Reference to Regional Development Program of World Vision Lanka in Bibile(Faculty of Graduate Studies - University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2021) Harischandra, H.M; Kumara, A.M.C.The study purpose was to find out the influence of Non-Governmental Organizations services and How it influences in sustainable community development in Kanulwela and Kokunnawa DSDs in Bibile secretariat Division. Specifically, the researcher aimed to find out the demographic characteristics of community in above DSDs, examine the influence of Non- Governmental organizations service and examine the level of sustainable community development. The research employed both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The study involved 112 respondents. A questionnaire and an interview guide were used to collect data. The results showed a significant influence of NGOs service on sustainable community development in terms of health service, microfinance service, and in Education. Researcher concluded that there was high influence in Non- Governmental organizations in sustainable community development.Item A Study on Sub Cultural Language of Wooden Tear(19th Conference on Postgraduate Research, International Postgraduate Research Conference 2018, Faculty of Graduate Studies,University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2018) Kumara, A.M.C.Main human needs are food, clothes and houses. Wood can be identified as one of the main raw materials used in construction of houses. From the past decade’s humans used wood in constructing their residences. With the humans’ social development, they cut off the large trees and tear by two men with the power and of force and ability. A sub culture and its own language was born due to the long period occurred in this process. Research problem of this study is that what the sub cultural language use in wooden tear? and from this study illustrated the sub cultural language use in wooden tear. Snow ball sampling is used as the sampling method and also interview method is used for the data collection. Collected data presented that there is a sub cultural language and also there are some related customs and rituals related with wooden tear. Through the study, it can be identified that there are few researchers restudies related with this field and this sub cultural language is going away in the present. Therefore, it has conducted must take immediate action for secure this sub culture for new generation
