This research examines the geography and meanings of recent changes in Christianity in Sri Lanka from a geographical point of view. It highlights the nature of the forces reshaping religious meanings and authority, the processes promoting conversion and standardization, and the implications of this religion refrigeration's for our understanding of late modernity itself.
