dc.description.abstractDue to the extensive utilization of advanced information and communication technologies (ICTs) in deliveringlearning and instruction, learning is no longer bounded by designated time and space as it was previouslyperceived. In addition, continuous lifelong learning has been regarded as a pivotal belief to ensure the profitableaccomplishment of individuals, organizations, and countries. As a result, the notion of lifelong learning has again foundthe slot in the contemporaryinformation and knowledge-based era. Accordingly, driven by the demands forlearning opportunities to fulfill the needs of resurgent lifelong learning, the practitioners in the fields of trainingand education are striving for a more flexible and adaptive learning approach. Online Learning, subsequently, haswitnessed an exponential growth throughout the world in recent years. The primary goal of this study was to understand students and scholarly perceptions of online learning value.Quality online programs and global partnerships enable best practices institutions to develop professional adult educators and invest in faculty development of scholar-practitioners. This paper reported that the findings of a small-scale study that documented the awareness of online learning among students and scholarly professionals.en_US
