dc.description.abstractAbhayagiri and Nalanda universities were flourished with thousand of students as international Buddhism universities during the 5th-12th centuries. This article reveals the historical sources of the study, origin and development, accommodated students, curricula, education system, scholars and teachers, revenue, administration, the scriptures carried back by students, libraries and destruction of Abhayagiri and Nalanda university.en_US
