Abstract

There is no single definition for geographic information system (GIS). There are many working definitions and most of them are acceptable for understanding purpose. A geographic information system is a computer system that incorporates hardware, software, and data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information.
