The Koro syndrome

Abstract

Two cases with koro syndrome in Sri Lanka are reported. This is a culture bound psychiatric disorder characterised by acute anxiety symptoms with deep seated fear of shrinkage of the penis or vulva and nipples into the body. (Research letter to editor)
